Excluding extenuating circumstances*, bans put in place for the following reasons cannot be lifted by appeal:

1) Admin impersonation. This includes taking the name of an existing Ventrilo or EchelonedWoW Administrator, or placing [AZ] or [Ventrilo Admin] in your username.

2) Abuse of the Help Channel. Every Ventrilo Administrator keeps a Phantom in this channel when he or she is online, and therefore, it has become a popular target for spam. However, the rules clearly state this is an instant-ban offense.

3) Excessive spamming on one or more occasions.

*For example, someone under the same username as another user has been spamming, etc, to sully the true user's image. This can quickly be solved by obtaining both user's IP Addresses in the RCon console, banning the offender, then unbanning the true user if he/she has been mistakenly punished as such.
